Marelli Motori Announces a change to its Leadership Team

Arzignano, 22nd February 2021

John Yap, 43, General Manager, Marelli Motori Asia Pacific region, has recently been promoted to Managing Director, Marelli Motori Asia Sdn Bhd.

Mr Yap holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Putra University Malaysia and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Marelli Motori in 2018, he was a Sales Director at SPX Cooling Technologies in Malaysia for over a decade, as well as holding other roles in project management and engineering.

This appointment comes as the company looks to achieve further growth in key markets in the region.  In September last year, parent company Langley Holdings plc, announced two new director appointments to its Marelli Motori board.
