Marelli Motori Announces a change to its Leadership Team

Marelli Motori Srl, the Italian electric motors and generators producer recently announced new director appointments to its leadership team and a new sales and marketing manager for Southern Europe.

Andrea Boni, Chief Operating Officer.
Andrea Boni (37) has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Mr Boni, who holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Padua University, joined the company in 2007 working first as a technologies specialist progressing to management in 2015. Working his way up to Head of Manufacturing and Technologies in 2019, he quickly established himself as a valued member of the company.

Filippo Zorzi, Chief Technical & Service Director
Filippo Zorzi (41) has been appointed Chief Technical & Service Director. Mr. Zorzi holds a Materials Engineering degree from Padua University and joined Marelli in March 2020 initially as Head of Service. Prior to joining Marelli Motori, Filippo headed service activities for 12 years in various markets such as machining, industrial burners and customized handling systems.

Andrea Varisco, Sales & Marketing Manager for Southern Europe
Andrea Varisco (51) has been appointed Sales & Marketing Manager for Southern Europe. Mr Varisco holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Padua University and joined Marelli Motori in July 2021. Previous roles included sales management and director posts covering a number of product groups such as multifunctional controls for gas equipment, production of marine gearboxes, and supply systems with alternative fuels for automotive applications.
