Marelli Motori has a state-of-the-art test facility in Arzignano capable of testing motors and generators in their original mounting arrangement (vertical and horizontal).

Testing can be conducted at 50/60Hz and variable speed as the facility is provided with a large power – high frequency AFE inverter (regenerative).

Testing is carried out in compliance with all major international standards (IEC, IEEE), customer specifications, marine and navy societies, ATEX rules and UL certification.

Test Room Features:

  • Test Area: 2,800 sqm
  • Test Benches: Vertical – Horizontal
  • Low Voltage: 0-690V
  • Medium/High Voltage: 1-15kV
  • Frequency: 0-200 (asynchronous machines), 0-400 (synchronous machines)
  • Power: Up to 4MW (asynchronous machines), up to 10MVA (synchronous machines)
  • Poles: 2-32
